GET OUT THERE

Pleasant Hill is the latest addition to Missouri’s Katy Trail State Park linking St. Louis to Kansas City. We are home to over 6 miles of our own equestrian friendly MoPac Trail that connects the Rock Island State Park Trail straight through the heart of our Historic Business District.

Bring your bikes, walking sticks, or just your family and friends and come enjoy some fresh air and our rolling Pleasant Hill, Missouri countryside.

MoPAC and Rock Island Trails

Our very own MoPac Trail runs along the tracks from the center of the historic business district, northwest through wooded areas with designated picnic sites, and arrives at the Pleasant Hill City Lake, which features primitive camping for those who like to live ruggedly. We also recently completed construction on half of our MoPac Singletrack mountain bike trail that flows for 3 miles through the woods around the lake. Come check it out.

The Rock Island Trail State Park currently connects Pleasant Hill to the town of Windsor 40 miles to the east. This connects with the Katy Trail thus making Pleasant Hill the farthest western point on the Katy Trail to date.
