I am Lisa Christiancy and I own Willow Boutique located in the downtown historic district. I am a proud
mom of 2 great boys, Tyler and Jaxon. I love spending time with them at work and at home. Owning a
small business means it can occasionally be a family affair and all hands-on deck mentality! I left my
career of multi store management after 20+ years to lean into a new challenge of business owner (and
all the other hats that might be required)! I am a small-town girl from Nebraska, raised by hard working
entrepreneurial parents. I have witnessed the long hours and dedication it takes to be a small business
owner as well as the roller coaster of results over the years. When I opened Willow Boutique on March 4
of 2020, building a successful business was not the only thing that excited me about my new venture.
Having the opportunity to build a business in a smaller community that possesses tons of potential to
grow excites me tremendously. Being a part of community and downtown revitalization is something
that I love being involved in any way I can. I look forward to being a mainstay of the community and
downtown for decades to come. I am honored and pleased to be on the board that is working hard
towards a Historic District that is vital, flourishing, and strong for generations to come.

I am a mom. A wife of 17 years. I am a homemaker, volunteer and a have a love for making our home into a small homestead. I run a cottage bakery from my home, specializing in decorated sugar cookies and yummy breads. When I’m not baking or gardening , I spend most of my time entertaining our two adorable labs and traveling to watch our son’s baseball career.
I have spent the last 5 years running the Pleasant Hill Booster clubs spirit and apparel store and preparing meals and organizing sporting events our son has participated in.
I enjoy delivering meals on wheels serval times a month and frequenting our local downtown businesses where I have a booth during the Farmers Market season.
It has been an honor to be asked to sit on the Downtown Historic Board as the timing was perfect to fill the incoming void of an “empty nest”, and continue my passion of volunteering and giving back to the community I was born and raised in. I believe our small town has so much to offer and so much potential to grow. I’m excited to be a part of it.

I adore downtowns and my obsession started in childhood where I grew up one block from an late 1800s downtown. My childhood memories are connected with walking everywhere — to the grocery store, the dentist, the doctor’s office, the pharmacy, the bank, the post office, everywhere. The pedestrian nature of downtown is a walkable area that is rarely replicated in modern development. The architecture connects you with interesting spaces and tells a story of the town’s development. No matter what City I’ve worked in or lived in, I’m always most connected in their downtown.
